In addition to the 45 hours of driving we did, we had some fun at a variety of National Parks. Here are just a couple pics from each place we stopped.
We started in St. George, went to the temple, and went to the Brigham Young house.
We were lucky enough to be down there for the solar eclipse. We didn't have the "special sunglasses" to watch it happen, so we watched it through a hotel neighbor's camera.
Day 1 of National Parks was spent at Zion. We hiked Angel's Landing, a 5-mile hike in the middle of the afternoon. This is us at the top.
Zion hike #2: Emerald Pools. This was a short 4-mile stroll with small waterfalls, pools, and very noisy frogs.
Zion hike #3: The long 14-mile hike up the Narrows. Most of it was walking in water, sometimes waist high. It was our favorite hike at Zion. The next few pictures are from this hike.
This was our turning back point at the Narrows.
The Grand Canyon: It was a great view (despite all the smoke from fires), but there wasn't much to do. We hit a few small hikes.

Two and-a-half miles into the canyon (over 2,000 ft down). Jami has affectionately called this hike the "Hike of Death."
Bryce Canyon, probably the best of the National Parks. This 3-hikes-in-one took us into the canyon and back out...about 6.5 mi.
Arches National Park...Jami wanted to see this arch since it's on all the Utah license plates.
And on our way back to Nebraska through Colorado, we stopped in Glenwood Springs to hike Hanging Lake. It was a short 2 mi.
