Monster Dash

Well it has been too long since I have written in the blog, so I decided to give her a break.............
I am in Lincoln this week to see Jami. My school schedule has been busy the last couple of weeks with working nights in the Oncology/ Medical Surgical Unit and going to class.  I had finals this last Monday for the first part of the semester an I start new classes that go till Christmas break.  I have been able to help John a little working on their deck. It is all tore down and footings have been dug for the new deck.

Jami has been doing swell.  She has been called into the Stake Young Women's Presidency.  I told her that she was so spiritual that she would get four callings and she did, at least for another month until their primary program is done. Then she will be released and still be a temple worker and organist.  She also just reached a milestone of working for a year with Lutheran Family Services and has been enjoying it.  They have treated her pretty well.  I got to see her office for the first time and the building is pretty nice that she is in.

Jami decided to run in a race that the Child Advocacy Center put on, the building she works in.  So, I told her I would run.  She did awesome and ran it in 33 minutes and I ran it in 18 minutes and 25 seconds.  The course was really nice and we got to see a little of the Roca Berry Scary Farm.  Here are some pictures that we took after the race.

I did where the glasses the whole race- Jami is Superman and I was Where's Waldo.

I was able to work a day at Dr. Harn's. The tress are super beautiful and the fall colors are vibrant.  The house is coming slowly but surely.  The trim is going up and it looks amazing.  I could not believe how great it was looking.  I also started stripping the dresser drawers and just have to finish the last part of the dressers before we we can stain them.
