The Place Where Justin Works

So not many of you have been to where I work, it is a secluded place outside of Lincoln where I spend a lot of time since it is so beautiful and quite.  Here are some pictures from around the place which is about 230 acres. The water on the pond is really low-approximately 6-7 feet.  I have also spent a lot of time to watering trees due to the drought- in one day i used about 10,000 gallons of water.
I thought that I should upload some pictures of this awesome place to give those of you who have not seen it a glimpse.

There are many trees changing colors and there are a few in this post that you will see.  Too bad that I missed a lot of them due to the wind blowing off many of the leaves.

Here are some more trees changing colors and there is one of the three fields on his place behind me.

This is part of the pond and some of the trees changing colors.

This is the front side of the pond. I am standing on a dam and there is a windmill that supplies the pond with air.  in the middle is a drain system to prevent washing out the dam.

This is a view of the whole front portion of the pond.

This is a connection point between the two big portions of the larger pond.  A few geese were playing on the pond.  There are normally geese year round with goslings in the early spring to summer.

Can you see the huge buck that I got in my picture?  This is one reason why I love this place to Hunt.
This is actually a life size stature of a elk that my boss had brought in as a decoration for his house that is in the works.

This is the backside of the pond with two big islands with weeping willows on them.  He has about 40 or more around the pond.  In the middle and a little to the right you can see a seeping willow. This is where I caught the largest fish here a 24 inch catfish.

Well i caught some pictures of the elk up close!

Here is a view from another hill on his place that has a great view of the state capital building and the surrounding area.  The next picture is if you just turn around on the same hill but there are a bunch of trees that are changing colors.

This is a view from where he is going to build his house that overlooks part of both ponds.

These two pictures are of the trees that line both sides of the driveway leading up to his house.  There are several different kind of trees as you go up that are all different colors, but some of them had already lost there leaves.

After all of these pictures maybe you get a little glimpse of why I like to be at this place so much, but with all of the trees you have seen you can see why I was out here during the drought so much. In one day I used over 10,000 gallons of water, this is right along with the many other days I was out there watering .
