We have been busy with Jami winding down in school. She graduates on the 16 of August in the new Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln that is just being finished. She has had several presentations for class and her theory of how to do therapy. She did get enough hours thankfully! She was able to get extra hours needed at Community Mental Health in Lincoln. She got her MedFT certificate, so she nows how to deal with people with medical and psychological issues, I guess??
Justin has been in school since the beginning of July at Southeast Community College taking a couple of classes to finish prequistes for nursing school. I am hoping to get into the accelerated program. i have had a couple of tests and have a couple this upcoming week. I have been working for Dr. Harn still cutting trees and watering the trees that have been transplanted or newly planted. I have also been working for the biopsy services at the dental school keeping busy. The weather has been coller and we finally got some rain so the crops are not looking so dried out.
We went to the county fair here in Lincoln and looked at the animals. They had quite a few birds and rabbits(some that were bigger than the tom cats we had growing up- over 10 lbs easy!) The chickens were fun to look at and remembering all the kinds we had growing up. We looked at horses, cowss, sheep, goats, llamas, and we watched a few tractor pulls. It is crazy how many tractors they had that were souped up that it was crazy.
Working at the temple has been awesome and still is! The church just released a new endowment video this past week. It was good to see, but the doctrine is still the same and will never change since it is the truth already. I think that a different perspective makes you think about things more. We were able to see Nancy Kreber sealed to her parents with was a great experience and we got to see mom and dad in the temple for the day.
