Ok, so I made be a little addicted to Pinterest. Just a little. And Justin rolls his eyes at me whenever I tell him about a recipe I found there, or when he catches me getting on the website. But I think that even he will admit that we've found some successful recipes there. Like our lemon brownies, for example (there are more, I just can't think of them off the top of my head). Our Pinterest trial this week came in the form of crock pot applesauce.
It was nice, just because I could put it in the crock pot and then forget about it for a few hours. The only thing that took a lot of time was cutting and peeling the apples. It made me really want one of those nifty little contraptions that cores, peels and slices apples all at once. It would have cut the time down dramatically. We also put more cinnamon in it than it called for. I only had one of the bigger cinnamon sticks available and the recipe only calls for a 3-inch stick. Definitely stick to the 3 inches. Besides that though, I would say it was a success. It would be easy to can if you made enough of it. Here's the link if you feel adventurous:

Don't let Justin give you too much of a hard time, he will reap the rewards of your liking of pinterest. It is a valuable tool to have...I love it too.
